45 Days is a journal inspired by a brief that challenged every team to use design as a means of coping with a societal issue happening in each one of the scenarios. The one my teammates and I chose to tackle was overpopulation in the year 2030. This scenario meant that every person between the age of 19-65 had 45 days to find someone to spend the rest of their lives with or turn into an animal. We divided the 45 day booklet into 3 parts (one section for each of us) and designed their perspective spreads. We included love stories, journal entries, card games, quotes, comforting reads, personalized merchandise (for finding a lover as quick as possible), and even ointments and medications for enhancing body pheromones!
My teammates and I worked collaboratively choosing color-schemes and typefaces. We made page size and book-binding decisions together. The designs of each individual page were done independently and feedback was given each time we reviewed the work.
