This project was part of my first in-depth typography class with Peter Cocking during my third year at Emily Carr. The task was to create a type specimen booklet using three typefaces from three different time periods. The typefaces had to be used in the way that they would have throughout their history. I chose Jenson, Baskerville, and Gill Sans. All uppercase & lowercase letters as well as the general punctuation marks were necessary for each spread. Additional glyphs and embellishments were optional. A brief explanation about the typeface and designer was also included.
